FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Do I have to use store bought dough?

No, if you have a favorite homemade pizza dough recipe you can absolutely use it. Just make sure that you are making 2 pounds worth of dough. I just like to use store bought because it is quicker.

How many breadsticks does this recipe make?

This makes a total of 16 breadsticks.

What kind of cheese is best?

I like to use the basic grated parmesan that comes in the green containers for this recipe (like Kraft.) You can freshly grate your own if you’d like but it’s not going to taste like the ones you get at Little Caesar’s.

What kind of dipping sauce can I use?

You can use any of your favorite dipping sauces. I just use pizza sauce since that’s what you get at Little Caesars with the crazy bread. You could also use marinara sauce or garlic butter.

How do I store leftovers?

These can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature where they will keep for up to 4 days. They can also be frozen. I suggest wrapping each breadstick individually in plastic wrap and then placing in a freezer bag. These will keep frozen for up to 3 months. To defrost, remove to the refrigerator or countertop overnight until thawed.
